Molly had been expecting to be tied up at work for hours, but to her surprise, she had been able to clock out on time. She had forgotten to owl Arthur to tell him that he would probably beat her home, but as Perce was supposed to be taking them out for her birthday (she was assuming Arthur was invited to come along as well), there was no need for her to start dinner. Instead, she showered and changed into a set of more comfortable robes, as there was no reason for her to be dressed in her St. Mungo’s white at home. After she had done so, she selected a book from the bookshelf and charmed her knitting needles to finish up the remainder of Ron’s jumper. She could hardly believe there was only about six weeks left until Christmas, and she knew she’d have to find time in her busy schedule to finish the rest of the jumpers and Arthur’s gift. She had let things sit idle for too long this year, and now she was going to have to do a bit of multi-tasking to be sure each of her children got a jumper this year, and that Arthur got something knitted from her. She settled herself on the sofa, opening her book after she was satisfied that the needles were working steadily to wait for Arthur to come home.
