Draco stared at the bag of galleons he'd tried to send earlier in the week. In his anger, he'd thrown it across the room, just now finding it. He set it down and picked up a quill, staring at the parchment.
Miss Weasley,
The previous donation was meant in earnest. I had no intention to offend or impose, only to help those who once were my family.

Draco Malfoy
He stared at the letter, astounded that his handwriting had been that smooth. He closed it quickly, before he could rescind his thoughts. The apology had been the most difficult thing he'd possibly ever done, certainly of his own volition. Yet, his father was right. She'd likely been affronted by what must have seemed a bribe to one as poor as she. Though surely she'd have known he'd once lived with them?
He sent the letter and laid down, contemplating moving back to Malfoy Manor.
