Being away from Pansy during the full moon was nothing new, not even when he was living at her flat in Manchester. But now it seemed very odd; perhaps because before, he was always returning home to be with the pack. Now he was leaving home, instead, and through Tuesday he had felt a strong urge to be back there. But he wasn't risking traveling in that condition, and the next day he had an early morning practice. So it was one day more before he walked through the threshold, sore and tired, with a little box weighing heavily in his pocket.
And he was trying not to grin like an idiot. After the fuss Pansy had made over her engagement ring the last week, he was sure the wait was killing her. Which was why he decided to act completely nonchalant about it.
"Evening," he said casually, shrugging off a light coat.
