Time: Early afternoon.
Place: Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop, Hogsmeade.

Parchment. What a stupid thing to run out of, Ethan thought bitterly to himself as he walked the short distance to the nearest stationary shop. Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop. It certainly wasn't the cheapest place, but it was close - down the street close - so he'd just have to make due. His shop wouldn't open for another hour, but he didn't want to deal with the hassle of flooing out to Diagon Alley for something as mundane as parchment.
It was still early in the day, so the shop was fairly empty. A small handful of people dotted here and there that Ethan didn't pay any attention to. He went straight for the blank loose sheets of parchment, and with it in hand started to head to the checkout. But he paused, because tried as he might, Ethan couldn't, for the life of him, remember if he needed quills. A swift mental shrug and he turned around; he was already there so it wouldn't hurt to pick some up.
