Clothes make the man. In that case, Harry's hospital 'pajamas' had made him a patient. Now, however, wearing 'normal' clothes, Harry did indeed feel half-way normal. His injuries were almost fully healed, and although a substantial enough ache remained, it was by no means crippling. The bandages had been changed around his chest, the wound there, probably from the direct hit from Voldemort's Crucio in the chamber, was heaking slowly. Harry had yet to see the wound, the Healers were always careful of that when the bandages we changed. He had come to assume it was a particluary unpleasant wound, therefore the discretion. The bandages could come off in a few days, but apprently there would be scarring. Harry had waved off the instructions, impatient for the arrival of Remus & Ginny.
Now if only he could get out of this place.
Bag packed, primarily with a load of potions he didn't exactly plan to take, th emagazines Ginny had brought him, and his journal, Harry sat in the chair that had been used by so many people these past ten days. The bed was still unmade, but it was the last place he wanted to be.
Too much time in bed. I'm sleeping standing up or in a chair for the next month.
It was strange to be sitting in that chair. A chair that seemed to spontaneously move back to the far wall no matter how many times it got moved to the side of his bed. Which is where it sat now. Next to the bed so Harry could see what it was like for Remus, Ginny, Ron, and any other number of people who had walked threough the door for a visit. See what it was like to be on the other side of those conversations. But mainly because he never wanted to touch, more or less sit on or lie in, that particular bed again. He had been walking around his room all morning, stretching out forgotten muscles, preparing them for the journey home.
