Luna had been quite anxious to leave Hopping and Aperture's. Overall it was a good morning--and even better when Colin Creevey showed up unexpectedly--but she hadn't been able to focus on her work. Terry was seeming rather off, lately; even Mr. Hopping had noticed, but it didn't seem that he read his journal as often as the younger workers. Frances had done her best to keep everyone in high spirits, but their boss didn't seem to appreciate her efforts, which only made Luna more agitated ( ... )

He stood when she entered, out of deference and greeting, stood there smiling with pleasure at the sight of her coming. She returned his smile briefly, but as she drew closer her smile faded and her absent attention seemed to focus on him. Next thing he knew, his arms were full of her.

He laughed lightly at the unexpected welcome and returned her embrace. This would certainly ensure that any who worked here would know of their relationship if they hadn’t already, not that it mattered to Seamus. He would have been entirely pleased with the moment had she not then withdrawn a bit to inquire after him. The usual and politely insipid response nearly rolled off his tongue, ”Aye, luv, I’m fine…”, but the strength of her grip on his shoulders and the look of concern on her face schooled his answer to better ( ... )

Oh... what was she to do with Seamus, really? Certainly the problems to which she inquired would not be remedied simply by her presence... but at the same time she couldn't help but feel extremely pleased and compelled to hug him again. But Luna fought the urge, because if she did, they would probably never get out of the pub ( ... )

Luna was patiently listening, and Seamus knew that he needed to tell her more, but he was unsure of just how much needed to be said. He wasn’t one to keep things unspoken if asked, but he was also not one to speak unasked about his problems. With Luna, he needed to let her understand them, but he didn’t want to overburden her with them.

“Aye, luv, there’s much to do then and ‘tis already begun.” He paused and tried to weigh what to say and how much to add. “Mr. Jiggers did say that if the problem continued to find me a wizard physician. Right, I’d asked amongst friends, without a reply.” Then he laughed, “Canst be too hard on them lass as this Seamus knows no healers himself then, save Madame Pomfrey.” His expression hardened a bit. “I’ll not to St. Mungo’s, not whilst there’s a healer elsewhere to be found.” Then he smiled at her again ( ... )

If Seamus had been nervous before, and he was, he became completely flummoxed when Luna practically, no actually threw herself on top of him, knocking them both over backwards. This was the second time today that he’d suddenly found himself with his arms full of the girl. Now he sincerely regretted his decision to tell her out here in public, although he still knew it to be the right one deep down ( ... )

Luna closed her eyes and kissed back, thinking that at the moment, she didn't much care who saw them. But she was quite sure Seamus wouldn't try apparating in front of so many people... wait... would he ( ... )

Seamus was able to fight off the urge to immediately apparate them both back to his flat, but when his Luna returned his feelings with such a wondrous look on her lovely face, he was not about to fight off the urge to kiss the lass. So public or no, he treated any interested on-lookers to one of the more passionate kisses he’d shared with the lass.

“Now lass, you sure you’re after seeing this concert today then?” He gave her a wink and a leer, inviting her to change their agenda if she was so inclined, but not really expecting her to do so. Then again, the girl had already jumped him twice today. A guy could hope.

She was nervous, more nervous than she'd ever been around Seamus. But the kiss quickly melted all that anxiety away. She closed her eyes and was completely absorbed, forgetting the intensity of their conversation, the people around them. She'd shared passionate kisses with Seamus before, but for some reason this felt much more... honest.

Who cared about concerts? She smiled shyly--and with some amusement--as his question. Sure, let's leave! They could listen to music any other day. This was much more important! And much more interesting.

She might have said all that, but no, they had a plan to follow. And, well, she was still a tad bit nervous... but not in an unpleasant way.

"Well, since we're here," she beamed, completely ignoring the fact that she was blushing.
