When she responded in kind, he smiled and relaxed a bit, even as he tried to make sure they didn’t fall off the broad cement expanse they were using for their lunch.
“Luna, my love, do you have any idea at all lass, of just how tempted I am to apparate the both of us back to my flat right here and now in front of God, London and everyone?” He laughed and took advantage of their closeness to give her a quick kiss. He’d have been tempted to stay like that for a bit longer, but there was the small matter of the puddle of water that was creeping its way under him
Then he hoisted them back up, reluctantly setting her down next to him rather than keeping her perched on his lap. He kept one arm around her. The only casualty of her effusive behaviour had been his water bottle. He righted it quickly with his other hand, and after making sure no one was looking, silently spelled himself and the area to dryness. Then he used it to take hold of one of hers.
The positive effect of this public display on the lad was amazing. He worried sometimes that she might not be as enamored as he, as passionate as he, as receptive to his overtures of physical closeness as he might wish. Instead, she was intuitive and quite emotional in her responses, for all of her ethereal, otherworldly seeming abstractness. He was all the more enthralled because of it, with a measure of impatience that was becoming more difficult for him to manage by the day.
“’Tis not a bad place for confession then, luv.” He looked around a bit and then leaned over to whisper in her ear so no one else could hear him. “Love you then, sweetheart, that much is for certain.”
He’d leave the rest for a more private moment.

Maybe not.
He righted them both and kept her close under his arm, and it was only then that Luna realized how the poor water bottle had been caught in the middle of her attack on Seamus. "Oh, sorry...." Luckily it was a small and easily cleaned mess.
There wasn't much that caused Luna to truly blush. But when Seamus leaned in close and whispered those words, her cheeks--and her ears--grew a warm, plucky shade of pink. She stared out in thoughtful silence as if he'd just told her the meaning of life.
She might have tackled him again if she had the strength to move. All she managed to do was lift her hand, searching for his.
"Me too," she whispered, her tone matching her dumbfounded expression. And then, realizing that wasn't a complete sentence, she turned her face to Seamus, eyes wide as if seeing him for the first time.
Eyes wide with fear, because it was such a great leap, confessing emotions that were so easily crushed if not returned. Even though Seamus had made the first move... for Luna, it was as if she was letting her dearest possession go.
"I'm certain, I mean."
Scary, yes... but worth it.

“Now lass, you sure you’re after seeing this concert today then?” He gave her a wink and a leer, inviting her to change their agenda if she was so inclined, but not really expecting her to do so. Then again, the girl had already jumped him twice today. A guy could hope.

Who cared about concerts? She smiled shyly--and with some amusement--as his question. Sure, let's leave! They could listen to music any other day. This was much more important! And much more interesting.
She might have said all that, but no, they had a plan to follow. And, well, she was still a tad bit nervous... but not in an unpleasant way.
"Well, since we're here," she beamed, completely ignoring the fact that she was blushing.

He laughed, gathered up and disposed of their lunch and took her hand to go into the church. “Aye, luv, we are.” He pulled her closer and kissed her on the forehead.
“Right, ‘twill be a fine concert then love, for certain; but not so fine as this lunch then, lass.” He laughed again and led her off into the church.
