Emergency Meeting of the Snake and the Lion

Rating PG - because it's all about the affection with these two, isn't it?
His rant at the Weasley twins two days before had been very therapeutic, but had accomplished nothing. It was almost a relief to head into Muggle London just to be away from the ridiculous bobbles now ubiquitously displayed everywhere. Unfortunately, having commissioned the twins to do some delicate and very private research regarding June Connors, he had unwittingly given them a 'blackmail' tool against him, and he could do nothing more than impotent fuming.
Though he did have a few of the blasted things himself. Talk about therapy - whacking them on the heads was quite satisfying - especially after he'd placed a silencing charm on them.
Had they not met in this location already several times before, there might have been a risk of Potter not recognising him. Severus was very good at 'going Muggle', having lived as one for the first ten years of his life, and having lived as a spy who needed to blend in, anywhere he was sent. The Muggle denims he wore were old and faded, and while the trench coat bore a striking resemblance to his robes, it was brown rather than black, and hung open to reveal an ordinary rugby-style Muggle shirt. He sat lazily in a booth with clear view of the door, having arrived immediately upon receipt of Potter's distress call.
The boy was creative with his insults, he had to conceded that, at least to himself.
