Oh man, I should have written another entry this week. I was so busy with everything I just couldn't bring myself to do it. So all my stuff is again in suitcases eight weeks later, and graduation is on Saturday. Amazing. Well, let me start at the beginning...last weekend.
Columbia admitted students weekend was a blast. Highlights include distinguished alumni Dr. Ruth's wecome address (in which she told us we'd have great sex forever if we came to Columbia Teachers College), free tickets to Rent (or various other shows and attractions, WNBA game if you're into that sort of thing), all the gormet food you could eat, and live entertainment for two days. So now I bring you....
Columbia's equivelant of....
Reed Library
Erie Dining Hall
Steel Hall (not all that different, I guess, except for instead of Oswego, Oneonta, and Potsdam, their banners say Harvard, Yale, Princton, Dartmouth, etc. Hmmmm.)
The McEwen Lab
101 Thompson
More Columbia pictures to come another time. I'll leave you with these, from my last day at 212...
The class. Notice how many of them there are. And one is missing, too.
My last walking trip with the kids, to the 10th Street Diner. We told them not to sit at the counter, so they improvised. Too cute.
Ahg, I'm sad now.
