I've decided that the only reason I didn't end up in Wammy's House is because I was seventeen before I got orphaned. Dammit. If it was going to happen anyway, why couldn't it have been while I was still young enough to have crazy adventures with child geniuses? Yes, I know I'm not a genius. Don't ruin my fantasy here. I'm only, what, two years older than Mello after all.
Ten seems like a good age. Okay, hmm, ten-year-old me... if the kids got to chose their own aliases, I'd probably have went for, hmm... Stanton. (If you get the reference, you win.) Or possibly Syllable. And I've calmed down a lot now, but at the time I was definitely neurotic enough for Wammy's, hee.
