Happy New Year
It's just one week old, so I feel I may say good wishes into all directions.
Like last year, I spent a little vacation, five days in Wernigerode, and I desperately was in need. My colleague retired in October, and since then I've tried to do all the work on my own.
Now that I write it down, I realise how crazy it is, or at least how not exactly sensible. I felt entirly exausted when 1. January was over. That won't go on like that, that's for sure.
On another note, I started to learn and play the viol in April. Viola da gamba, that is. Step by step I seem to come to terms with it, and it's sheer joy. (On the other hand, I'm lucky enough, I suppose, that I don't need to make my living by playing the viol.)
Last remark for today, a very old LJ-friend recurred. I think the last time we met on LJ was more than 15 years ago. Isn't that amazing.
