Hurrah - the diagnosis could have been so much worse - and expensive. So many cats get kidney disease as they get older that its pretty run of the mill, though not of course, to you and the lovely Juliet. As you know, Zara has had kidney trouble for ages, and with her medicine each day she gets along famously. Yes, she does occasionally vomit, and pees small Niagaras, but so long as she has her medicine and there is always water for her she is fine. Of course, I've put her on wet food, to which I also add water so that it taste like gravy, and she loves that, so Juliet may just get used to it if she likes the taste. Good luck.
