Well that's a direction I didn't expect my day to take...
Just got out of an MRI.
So almost a week ago, I started having these weird little spells...slight dizziness, accompanied by slurred speech, which would last about 15 seconds or so. Freaked me out, and I had planned to make an appointment with my doctor if they continued, but I decided to wait it out a bit and see if they went away. They didn't go away, they started happening more often. This morning at work, I was typing and suddenly it was like I was typing drunk...couldn't type, couldn't find the keys, couldn't control my hands. Fuck it, I said, that's it: I'm calling my doc RIGHT NOW. They got me in at 10:30, and ordered me into an emergency MRI, which as I said I just got out of. I'm tired, stressed, upset and headachey now from the "mumblemumblemumble EEEEEE EEEEERRRR BLAAAAAT BLAAAT BLAAAAAAAAT" for 25 minutes (if you've had one, you know exactly what I'm talking about), and I'm waiting around for my doctor to call me with the results.
I'm so panicked and freaked out, I don't even know what to hope for. :(
