Being Human = LOVE
We're cleaning the house, preparing for a dinner party we're having this evening, and I'm watching the Being Human marathon on BBCA whilst I clean and dust.
I LOVE THIS SHOW SO. MUCH.
It's just...it's almost not fair for this silly show with such a ridiculous premise to be so goddamn good.
Annie. Oh dear lord, I love Annie. I love it when she just acts like a silly girl, and I love it when she gets super-scary with her ghosty powers. And! "Well...congratulations on mastering the whole talking-like-a-twat thing." Best line ever? Lenora Crichlow is a treat, I'm absolutely loving watching her host The Tudors as well. Girl crush? I have one. Mr. gin and I have decided that in our dream version of a movie of Bag of Bones (for which, yes, I'm still casting David as Mike Noonan), Lenora could be Sara Tidwell.
Mitchell. Oh man, I love Mitchell. Vampires are so, SO played out, yet Mitchell manages to be a refreshing take on an exhausted genre. He's kind, he's warm, he's a blood-thirsty killer embarrassed of his legacy. And Aiden Turner certainly isn't hard on the eyes.
George. Oh god, I love George. Russell Tovey can weep nearly as well as David Tennant can, and he just breaks my heart every time he falls apart. But he's in the other room facing down Herrick right now, and sweet jeebus, when he delivers that line: "You shouldn't have come after Mitchell. It got. My. Attention." Your blood runs cold.
I'm so excited for the season premier tonight (I have not been downloading, so I haven't seen any of it yet)! And we're going to have guests over, so I won't get to watch it till tomorrow! :(
