Hey hey hey! First of all, I'm so excited to see how many people participated in the RecAMuse week! goldented and I have decided that we'll be doing that special week again, hopefully in the very near future! Thank you so much!
Also, since the month of December is the month that we usually give and receive stories from others (and often without a prompt attached), the entire month will be No Prompt Required month! There's too much good out there during the season of giving! Just rec things you love! The rest of the rules will still apply, of course.
One more thing! While it is not a rule of the community, when you look through the list of the Friday's FRF, iif you see that a story you were planning on reccing is already there, try to rec something new! We all know there's no one out there who doesn't love a good handysparehand prompt, but if his first story you loved has been recc'd already, rec out something you haven't seen recc'd before by that writer, or rec something totally new! Whenever I see something on my personal "rec list" has already been mentioned, I know I like to comment on others' FRF post, letting them know that I appreciate/would've recc'd that story, too!
Remember, this won't be a requirement and no one will be chastised for double-reccing a story, we just hope to see lots of new stories every week. Personally, I always make it a personal goal to recc someone I've never seen recc'd before on my list.
As Americans celebrate a day to be thankful (it's after midnight!) and I just want everyone in this community to know how thankful I am of all of you. You guys make my weekends brighter and give me such wonderful stories to read. Thanks for being here and for being so enthusiastic. You guys are the best.
