Angel watched as Cordy fought for her life. They'd been on the way home from fighting the latest in the demon world when his car was hit by a driver who ran the red light. And now Cordy lay in a coma. The doctors didn't know if she'd make it.
It had been two weeks now. He sat down and took her hand in his. "Cordy, come back to me. I can't do this alone. I can't raise our daughter without you. She needs her mother. I need you."
For her part, Cordy had never been one to deny Angel anything when he needed it. And this was no exception. She slowly made her way towards the sound of his voice. And opened her eyes.
