~~ Part One ~ Part Two ~
Kyuhyun found himself pressed to the corner of a crowded room -- Choi Siwon's living room to be exact.
He bitterly sipped at the cup of fruit punch in his hand, watching as the mass of bodies danced around the stuffy room.
Kyuhyun was not enjoying himself -- not one bit.
After dropping him off at the entrance, his best friends Hyukjae and Donghae had dissappeared to God-knows-where -- leaving poor Kyuhyun to wander around on his own.
Mind me, Kyuhyun DID attempt at minggling around with some of his fellow students. But him, being somewhat akward and intimidating -- not to mention snarky -- did not score many points on the social ladder.
Kyuhyun felt like a fish out of water.
Why the heck had he agreed to go to Siwon's party anyway?
Oh, yeah-- he was unconditionally in love with said boy.

After a few minutes, he could take no more.
Kyuhyun slowly made his way through the Choi household.
Being Siwon's former best friend of nine years had given the magnae an advantage. He knew the house like the back of his very own hand.
He stepped out onto the back yard, wanting -- or rather, needing -- some fresh air.
Kyuhyun looked around, letting the memories wash into his brain.
He spotted the first tree he had climbed at the age of seven, only to obtain a broken leg when he fell from it.
Kyuhyun remembered it all so clearly -- him and Siwon playing hide and seek near the potted plants with the latter's cousin, Heechul;
Sharing cookies with Siwon by the fence, which used to have a hole for him to crawl through to get into this very backyard...
Kyuhyun sighed.
"Cho!" someone greeted, startling him out of his reverie.
The magnae turned around to see Donghae walking towards him, supporting what looked like a mildly tipsy Eunhyuk.
“Where have you two idiots been?! And what’s wrong with Hyukjae-hyung?!” Kyuhyun demanded.
“Take note - the punch was spiked.” Donghae warned.
“I’ve broken my promise...” Eunhyuk suddenly blubbered in his half-drunk state, his body leaning against said Fishy’s.
“Uh, what promise, hyung?” Kyuhyun asked.
“You know, his promise - the one where my monkey swore never to down a drink?” Donghae reminded.
Eunhyuk let out a sniff, making his boyfriend look at him with eyes full of concern.
“I better take him home... You’ll be alright here, Kyu?”
“Barely. But don’t worry, I’ll survive -- like I have been the past hour.” The younger boy said, still a little mad at his friends for abandoning him.
Donghae just laughed. “We’ll make it up to you. I’ll let you win the next ‘Starcraft’ game.”
“Hah! As if I ever loose!”
“See ya!” Donghae smiled, walking away with his boyfriend in tow.
“See ya.” Kyuhyun replied.
And he was left alone in the yard.
Or so the magnae thought.
“Kyu!” someone called from behind.
“S-Siwon?”
“Mmm...” the elder boy made his way towards Kyuhyun.
“Siwon, are you okay?” the younger boy asked, noticing that something was way off with his former best friend.
“Yeahhh, I’m perfectly fineee...” Siwon slurred, then collapsed onto Kyuhyun, pushing them both onto the green grass.
“Ouch!” Kyuhyun yelled. Siwon had landed on top of him. He could smell the alcohol on the elder boy’s lips.
“Hyung, you’re drunk.” Kyuhyun stated with much amusement. “Now, a good Christian boy like you... drunk. Must be the punch.” Kyuhyun laughed to himself, prying Siwon’s body off his own.
“Kyuhyunnn-ah...”
“Yes?” Kyuhyun was enjoying the show.
“Theres somthinggg I need to tell youuu...”
“What is it?”
“I loovee youuuuu.... I’veee loved you beforeee you went to math camppp...”
Kyuhyun’s jaw dropped. Did he just hear what he thought he heard?
