Summary: Jayne goes to stand watch for the night. He ends up talking with River instead.
Notes/Warnings: This is the first Rayne fic I've posted. It's nothing too heavy, but a fun little moment I could see the two having. The ballet River mentions is obviously Stardust, by Neil Gaiman, which I think would make an excellent ballet in the Core planets. And the little spiel that River mentions to Jayne about sinning is based off of a confession prayer spoken during most Catholic Masses. At least where I'm from. It should actually be "...That I have sinned through my own faults. In my thoughts, and in my words. In what I have done, and in what I have failed to do..."
