How sweet... It's very well written and somehow it seems that Jim has fond a place where he belongs or a pice of haven (live Ben used to say) by Silver's side. At least until the pirates began to take control over the ship... In my opinion the minissirei could be divide in tree parts. 1. Jim begans liking Silver and thinking on him like a good person. 2. He discovers he wants to take over the ship but after he kills one of the members of the crew he really thinks of him as danger and cruel. 3. And most to the end he began to see him as having two sides... Maybe the first part inserts more on your drabble.
It's a shame there isn't more Treasure Island (2012) fanfiction... Or if there is I never found it. I think this is a better and much darker adaptation than most of the previous others. It's a shame it has almost if none fanworks. ;) I will for sure do some avatars no matter what. The fandom need it.

Thank you so much :). I'm sorry for the late reply, but I really appreciate your comment. I was so disappointed there wasn't more of a fandom for this miniseries as well - tbh, I didn't actually think anyone would ever read this little piece :P.

I think there's definitely a point to what you say - Jim doesn't really know how to think in shades of gray at the start of TI - it's something he learns throughout as he matures, and it's shown in how he sees/treats Silver.

I would love a link to your avatars once you get them up, if possible. That would be awesome :D.
