I DO want the exchange to continue though, this is a wonderful and dear thing for me to come back to every year, fic-wise. Hopefully you guys find a way to work around it ♥

Ok, ok. I was already in the middle of writing the Disneyland stuff, when I was like '................ wait.' But then I was like screw it BECAUSE DISNEYLAND IS AMAZING and I didn't know any other amusement parks in Japan well enough and I didn't want to make the section totally generic. Pooh's Honey Hunt had everything to do with Koki OK. 8| Plus it's an awesome ride that is only in Tokyo Disneyland. 8|||||

Dear Hyphen-chan,

Thank you for putting up with everything this year. :'( From what I've seen, it's not just KAT-TUN fandom that is shrinking (or losing the will to read and comment?), given by the dwindling readership of other exchanges and the ending of JE hols. Even the akame exchange didn't run this year which is saying something. Here's hoping that the boys do something extra special this year that will revive interest and bring in new readers and writers ♥! Keep the faith. (9 ^__^)9

The commenting and reading thing is definitely a trend in LJ JE fandom as a whole, but I mostly worry about the fact KAT-TUN is loosing fandom base in general? Maybe it's just my feeling though. I do think JE hols will run again though. I trust someone will continue it, we'll just have to see how much the mod change will affect it.

Anyway I too hope KAT-TUN will have a great year, not only because FTF but for boys themselves, they really need it ;__; Let's hope for the best ♥

Also randomly. I have the fic you wrote in my tabs but I have been having hard time finding enough time to read it, but I am so excited about it and hopefully I will get to it soon because long kameda jlkdsjfkdjflskd

I think that trend is largely due to fandom abandoning lj and jumping onto tumblr/twitter. It seems to me that people are growing less interested in words, both for reading and writing. It's so much easier and faster to like/retweet/reblog something to show your appreciation than type a comment that says just as much. Therefore I'm not quite sure if KAT-TUN is actually losing fandom base or if the new generation of fans are showing their support through different platforms and fanworks outside of fics. I'm curious as to how Japanese fandom is faring... *need stats of the number of KT doujins made per year lol*
