hyphen_chan would like to present the long awaited
reveals post!
♥ Before you click the cut and find out who wrote your fic, the mods would like to thank all the participants for signing up, writing the awesome stories and for cooperating.
♥ A very special thanks goes to
ayame_hadouken and
buzzbird for pinch-hitting this year and helping us deliver a special fic for each and every one of you. Last but not least, thank you to
komorebi, who helped to comod the exchange this year. You are all wonderful, and Hyphen-chan wouldn’t be able to do it without you.
♥ Before you click the reveals, Hyphen-chan would like to address two more things, and I would appreciate if you read through this block of text, even if it might be a bit tl;dr.
♥ Firstly, this year, during the regular round of Hyphen-chan’s questionnaire, participants were asked about their thoughts on keeping anon in the exchange. I owe you a result, which is to keep anon as it is if the exchange runs again.
♥ Secondly, and I’m sorry if this is out of line a bit, but. I have to wonder about the future of this exchange. I would really love to run its 5th year, but the recent trends (be it drop of interest in exchanges, commenting or KAT-TUN fandom in general) do worry me.
We had eight participants less this year compared to the run in 2012. Two of those who signed up had to drop out. The good and maybe the bad part about FTF is that it’s an exchange of returning participants. The pool is about the same every year, and most of us know each other. But I worry what will happen when some of you move on (which is a normal part of our /fandom/ lives). There is many exchanges FTF competes with, other groups, het, or just Kame exchange which now gives platform to those KAT-TUN fans (and there are many) who love Kame the most. It’s maybe even better platform for some because it’s not limited to KAT-TUN only. My biggest worry is that when people decide to move on, there will be no one new joining instead of them.
I hope I will be able to judge whether this exchange is necessary next year, whether it is worth running again. What is the level of interest that is not enough anymore? What number of people has to sign up for the exchange to really run? Will I be able to tell the difference between uselessly going against wind mills and doing something that fandom still wants and appreciates?
I wanted to share this with you. I really hope to see you all next year, but, even more, I hope you will be there to help Hyphen-chan judge the situation, whichever way you decide to stir it.
That said, this is also a call for a new potential co-mod. As shown above, both parts of Hyphen-chan are quite disillusioned by the past years, and maybe we need a new, young and enthusiastic blood that would help us create the hype that might be slowly fading away, slipping from our grasps over the years. The level of involvement is up to you; whether you become the main mod who will just be helped by the creator of this exchange or whether you just tag along and cheer for your life is up to you. If you want to try, write us an email @ fic.the.faith@gmail.com and we will figure it out!
Thank you for reading. Now without further ado, click the cut to find out who wrote which amazing fic.

If there's any feedback, comments, or even critique you have for the mods, please let us know. We opened (or tried to) some serious discussion. Feel free to tell us any of your thoughts, so that if we meet next year, things will be done even better than in the past.
