Adam slowly rolled over to find Joan asleep next to him. He smiled and kissed her softly, she opened her eyes as he pulled away.
“That’s a good way to wake up,” she murmured, stretching her back out. She turned her head to look at him, smiling. “Did last night really happen?”
He nodded, smiling as well. “I’m pretty sure it did.” He kissed her shoulder gently. “But just to be sure, maybe we should...”
“Do it again?” she finished. She rolled her eyes as if she was thinking. “Yeah, that might be a good idea.”
He kissed her again, rolling on top of her. “Just to be sure,” he whispered.
