My legs are sore, so I decide to pace back and forth and around the house. I still hurt, but the movement changes the quality of the pain so it is more bearable. If I lie down and put my legs up it still hurts and feels like a deeper ache. And, if I lie down all I can think about is the pain, but if I'm walking there are all sorts of other things to distract me. I may be in pain, but the gentle gentle gentle exercise doesn't make me hurt anymore. Is this a common experience??
