Caity, fix this for me X_x;
Group Presenting (if applicable):
err. not sure what to put here? Individuals?
II. Summarize Issue - Factual Presentation
A. State reason for proposal.
The rule addressing tails within the school is violating our right to be an individual.
B. Give specific details and data
For the two years I have attended Kingwood Highschool, I have worn a fox tail attached to my back belt loop. It had never been a problem with any of my teachers, but now for some reason there is a rule that has banned them. Perhaps if it would have been banned the first week I had worn it the rule would have been valid, but after two years of prior use I fail to see why it is now considered a 'distraction'. The only time you do see it is when I am standing up, which is practically no time at all in school. If a teacher would disapprove of me wearing it in my class, I would gladly remove my tail when in her classroom. If the rule was made because of one other student who wore a tail and distrubted a class with it, then why must others suffer for their misconducte? The reason behind wearing a tail differs from person to person, but it mostly serves as an accesory like a braclet for example.
C. State desired outcome.
Students who choose to wear a tail may be free to.
III. Solution
A. State specific plan based on research.
Individuals may wear the tail of their choosing unless one of their teachers disapproves. If they cause problems, their tail may be banned, but only their tail. Not other students.
B. What is the proposed timeline?
TILL THE END OF TIME! umm..I unno what to put here.
