I get interesting things
My Papa today gave me a over a hundred year old Wolf or maybe coyote pelt...he use to say it was a wolf but today he said coyote...but it was always up in his house for as long as I can remember. it was his best friend Dave's family heirloom...he used to live with us and felt it should be in our home and left it to us (since he had no other family and were were essentially it)...my papa going thru his things as he now knows time is short had taken it down and bagged it up... he was gonna throw it out...Me and my sister didnt like that idea..so I took it. I know I have some friends who dont like fur..animal cruelty and all that. And I agree. However this is ancient and old...and has been this way for over a century. So I hope I dont offend anyone keeping it or owning it.
It is really dusty...it needs to be given a good cleaning. Thinking of looking into asking some local taxidermist how much it be to have it cleaned and any work to it , that it might need. I already know somehow over the years the tail fell of and was lost...but other then that it is in pretty good shape...
