8. In Which Juneau Connors Visits the Ministry of Magic, June Connors and NPCs, borderline PG-13. "I see, he said again- deliberately, she was sure this time." Oh the sheer mind-boggling difficulty of writing a blind person! This is a perfectly fleshed out scene wherein we get to see evil NPCs picking at June and her disability, so meanly that I felt the desire to actually punch those stupid Aurors for doing so. I don't want to sound paternalist or whatever, but Eve, I must confess - I love this thread of June's. Although, I have to say, just as much as those few ones where she interacts with Monty. Especially the dance thread one. ;) Can't really forget them, yeah? (The bad thing, I guess, is that I lost the links, and I can't seem to remember neither the name nore the date of those threads. ::cries::)

9. Obey, as I command, Montague Morsus and Terry Boot, R. Amidst the quite a handful of scenes that we have of the bipolar duo, I feel this one had the least exposure and attention, perhaps because of the excessively coded nature of it. Or perhaps not. I don't know. But I consider this particular scene the apogee of the writing Tabs and I did during that crazy summer. It has the most precise wording and at the same time the vague-est content that does not really explain what is going on, leaving it all to the subconscious of the reader. It is full of metaphors and symbolism and slight tinges of erotica, which unfolded scream of What Should Not Be. Tabs, lovings for this one. You rock.

10. Forbidden fruit, hidden eyes, curtises that I despise in me, Take a ride, take shot now., Tonks and fictitious people, PG. I pick this one NOT because Jenna used lyrics from a Portishead song, I promise. But that also played a role in my doing so. XD Anyway, what draws me to this scene still is the intertwining of reality with a dreamscape, wherein we catch a glimpse of three different men and how Tonks perceives them. Or would like to. I love the nuances fluctuating between one and the next, and how all three little ficlets fit into one bigger frame. I just love stories within stories, period. And this one was done especially well.

11. Their First Full Moon, Perry Derrick and Pansy Parkinson, PG-13. These two are perfect for each other and kudos to Nilah and Alex for making them work so well, and so intricately. I love the snark in their relationship and the subtle humour that is always present. And this thread manages to encompass nearly everything - the icky subject of transformations, the angst of Perry not wanting Pansy to see this, the support that he craves, and even still- the humour! Because humour is always present when two Slytherins are in one room - agree or die. :P Tippings of hat to you, Alex and Nilah!
