Bill entered to the other side of Remus, standing much closer than was usual. Maybe if they all crammed close enough together, they'd keep one another upright through this. He could have avoided this, removed himself from Spinners End and not have to watch this, knowing the image would never cease to haunt his dreams. But he was here for the pack, for Remus, because he wouldn't let them go through this without doing his best to help.

The girl they brought before them was a stranger. In his life, Bill had seen some awful things but the sight before him made him want to double over and be sick. A sound left a few mouths at the same time, as if bodies couldn't hold in their misery any longer. Bill's hand gently squeezed the back of Remus' neck, only for a moment as much for his own support than to reassure his friend.

June's outburst was tame, in comparison to what Bill wanted to do and he elbowed one of the ministry goons out of his way so he could grab her shoulders. The growl in warning was enough to make the guard take a step back from the distraught woman that was struggling against him. June was stronger than she looked and Bill had loop an arm around her waist, pulling her back from her defeated friend and pressing her back to his chest.

"June, don't let them win." He muttered, holding on to her as tightly as he dared. Bill wasn't going to let them have another for the execution block, wasn't going to let this pack loose another one. Because it struck Bill as he watched the terrified girl struggle against her straps, she was already lost.
