Circle Time Hell Ride

This morning 2 of the parents of nutty wild kids in my class came in. They did a little observation from behind a curtain to see how their kids act at school. And the girl was getting the boy going (before her mom arrived, but his mom was there) and then he got her going (after his mom left, while hers was there) and I had one sitting in a chair on one side of the shelf, and the other one on the other side. Neither of them would stay in the chairs, it was just not good. At all. And while I was trying to coerce the boy back to his chair, which he was certain was a game, and also blew a huge raspberry at me, the girl hid under a table and crossed to the other side of the curtain and found her mom there. Um, yeah, go me.

The girl was good while her mom was there but cried when she left, of course. The girl is more of a crier/annoyance and is usually easy to calm down. The boy, though, just randomly hits people and throws things and just generally a spoiled brat, just really unpredictable and really wild. He ended up going to the office, too. Again. Our other wild one was home sick, not because his parents wanted to keep him home, but because we called and asked them to keep him home. The poor kid needs some rest.

I can't believe I'm still not getting paid for this until next week.

In goodness news, the phone-in system works now. Yay! And the bus tags now have ribbon instead of yarn, which greatly reduces tangles. Again, yay!
