Leah (age 21 months): Hi, Daddy. How's it going?
Paul (laughing): Pretty good, how about you?
Leah: I'm looking for my mommy. Have you seen my mommy?
Paul laughs.
Mom: I got a job offer.
Me: Really? What is it?
Mom: It's working for [my sister] Pat, in Arizona.
Me: Wow. That sounds like a bigger dilemma than the one I was going to tell you about.
Mom: Yeah, what's that?
Me: They put Martha Stewart and Rachel Ray's shows on at the same time.
