Today had been an excellent day: massages, a bit of shopping, being an amazing friend to Ben and Tahiri regardless of how they saw it. In all, Karla was feeling quite pleased with herself.

Which was why she'd decided to surprise her boyfriend this evening.

"Kiss kiss," she called. "Room service!"

Warren? Totally a fan of room service. He grinned as he folded his wings carefully behind him and pulled on his coat, just for the sake of not freaking out anybody else who might be wandering the hallway, before opening the door and smiling out at the one on the other side of it.

"How did you know that I was hoping to see a Karla delivered right to my door today?"

"Black Widows are the caste of prophecy, of course," Karla said, giving him a crooked smile in return. "And since I've seemed to make it make day of making wishes come true, why shouldn't I show up at your door?"

Ben and Tahiri might argue over the whole 'wishes come true thing,' but, again, stubborn.

"Besides, I've come bearing gifts."

After spending the day snowboarding (and wiping out more than he'd ever admit to anyone), Jason was in the mood for some protein. Not dirty. The Epic Mountain Burger sounded, well, epic, and he didn't mind that the waiter didn't believe his fake ID. He wasn't in the mood to drink, but it had seemed fun to try anyway. While he waited for his food, he kept an eye out for anyone from Fandom who might be eating there too.

Journey into the night under the captivating glow of the full moon. Learn about astronomy and the habits of nocturnal animals while you snowshoe through the pristine silence of the moonlit mountains.

Some people may have been surprised to see Kate on this tour, but she'd just figured that moonlit things could be kind of cool, and maybe she'd just spent too much time with people whose sort of thing this was.

However, it turned out that snowshoeing was kind of exhausting after a day of trying to snowboard, and halfway through the tour Kate was kind of just wanting for it to be over.

She was going to tough it out, though.

Dru had made it through two days of ski school and skiing down the bunny hills. She should have stayed in and let her tired muscles relax. But the trip had sounded interesting.

Tomorrow she was definitely hitting the hot tub.

Struggling to not trip over her own feet, Dru sighed and trudged along.

"I think this gets filed under it seemed like a good idea at the time."
