Aravis was grateful for the second day that she was used to this sort of weather, harrowing though it was. She'd created a veil and wrapped her head to try to stave off the sun, and was almost trying to be friends with her stupid camel.

Amber was miserable but not complaining. Her clothes stuck to her, her hair was matty and her cheeks and nose were red. She was used to the camel by now and continued a one-way conversation with it now and again, just to amuse her and keep her spirits up.

Of course, he walked right into the trap. Soon, he was upside down, arms dangling in the air and some alarm going off.
"Oh, frakking FRAK," he yelled, trying to get down. "FRAK! Damn it. FRAK!"
