Piper and Veronica's Apartment, Monday

Piper stared at her cellphone for a very long time. She was debating whether to call Chris back or not. She could just ignore this until it goes away, right?

Perfectly was a resourceful child. She'd gotten a phone and had found the contact number for her half-sister.

She dialed and waited.

Piper did not recognize this phone number. "Hello?"

"Hi sis," Perfectly said. "How come you're not at the manor?"

"Because my school is in LA." Piper paused a moment. "Did you just call me sis? Phoebe?"

She sounded too young to be Phoebe, though. Unless Phoebe was turned into a child again.

Chris looked at his son and daughter, who, despite not knowing each other back home, were at least getting along. He was kind of lucky that he had easy-going kids. They clearly got that from their mothers.

"Okay, let me talk to Grandma first," he said. "Then you can both have a turn."

He dialed Piper's number and wondered if he should warn her to have booze on hand.

Piper recognized Chris's number and sighed. Guess she really can't ignore this until it goes away. "Hey Chris. I was gonna call back..."

"That's okay," Chris assured her. "I've been a little busy."

She might hear the sounds of scuffling in the background. "Wait a second!" Chris hissed.

"Um... I've got a couple people here that would like to say hi to you," he said. "You... might want a drink. Or at least to be sitting down."

"I'm sitting," Piper said warily. "And the tequila is nearby."

Alanna figured that there was at least one other person who was dealing with the same thing she was and dialed a number.

"Hello?" Piper said warily, afraid this was another long lost relative.

"Piper!" Alanna said cheerfully. "How's college life?"

"Alanna? Hey," Piper replied. "It's okay I guess. Finals are coming up. Are you dealing with any of the latest Fandom weirdness?"

Melinda found her Daddy's cellphone. And she managed to find "Piper" in the contact list.

So now she was bouncing as she called her mother.

"Bel?" Piper said, recognizing the phone number. "Please tell me we don't have a kid together?"

"Mommy!" Melinda said happily. "Where are you why aren't you here?"

This would be Piper dropping the phone and flailing, taking out part of the wall in the process. "Dammit, not again!"

She sighed and reached for the phone. Ignoring the child was not going to help. "Um...hello. I'm in Neptune because I go to school nearby. Where's your dad?"

Artemis and Pandora were bored. They'd been spending the afternoon with Daddy (Daddy Anders, if you asked Artemis), but when they had to go to class with him it was pretty much the last straw. And it was really, really easy to sneak away from Daddy-who-didn't-have-magical-abilities when you could shimmer. Or hang on to someone who could shimmer.

Artemis had totally taken Anders's cell phone with her before they bolted, though.

Being bored, they'd started flipping through his contacts list until they found a familiar name and dialed the number, holding the phone between them. (Pandora kept trying to TK it away, though.)

"Anders!" Piper said, sounding somewhat annoyed. "Do you really have a kid with my sister?"

Artemis giggled. "Hi, Mommy Piper. Daddy Anders can't come to the phone now 'cause we stole it."

"Anders and I have a kid?" Piper said, completely misunderstanding. Then she flailed internally.
