What do I do with all this MS stuff?

A while back a friend of mine was doing an MS walk, and I made a small donation for something like $30 (can't remember). On the online donation form, it asked me to answer a number of questions about myself, culminating with a question where it asks what convinced you to make the donation. The multiple choice answer options were something like: "I have a friend who has MS", "I have a relative who has MS", "I have MS", and maybe a couple of others. But there was no option for "I have no association to the disease in any way, I'm just being thoughtful". So I figured, if they're going to force me to lie, I might as well make it amusing, so I checked the "I have MS" box.

I laughed a bit about that, and then forgot about it ... until I started getting lots of mail from the MS society. At first I thought they were being bastards and soliciting me for more money because I was a sucker and donated once. Then I looked more closely at the mail. Sure there were solicitations, but also fliers on how to live with MS, talking with relatives, and apparently I am now subscribed to "Inside MS" magazine, and I can't remember what all else. I have MS, so these cool people are sending me all this stuff to help improve my quality of life. I feel bad because by now I'm sure they've spent more money on printing and postage than they got out of my donation. The mail comes by the bushel and I have no idea who to talk to to make it all stop. I thought they would lose track of me when I moved to Illinois, but somehow they found me again.

So in conclusion, I'm sorry to everyone who has MS. But I had no choice - they made me lie! I promise I'll find a way to stop the madness soon. Right after I'm done tormenting some cancer victims.
