Summary: A version of what could have happened if Ashe had convinced Basch to stay in Rabanastre rather than going after her father to Nalbina. It assumes they have had a close relationship that grew into love as she got older (the same relationship in the events prior to FFXII that they had in my other [better] fic Ever At Your Service). Basch takes Ashe from Rabanastre himself and finds them a safe place to hide, recover and eventually plot the restoration of Dalmasca.
Currently, there are four chapters, and the rating will likely go up with the next one.
