50 Books in a Year update:
14. Julius Caesar by Shakespeare
15. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

My flight connecting from Chicago to Seattle was delayed about an hour because.....well, actually, I don't really know why. They had issues parking a plane, I think?? Or even beyond that, having a plane to park? Anyway, I got back to Washington fine and dandy just in time to finish July 18th for a third time. Huzzah for being on Roman time, having Chicago time on my watch, and then being in my mother's car as midnight passed.

And random note: I did not like Chicago O'Hare International Airport much at all. I don't know if it was just me having too little sleep or what, but...yeah. I did not appreciate that airport in the least. On the bright side, getting through customs was not the horrific affair I thought it would turn out to be.

I'm nowhere close to being adjusted to Washington time. No matter when I go to bed, I wake up at 2AM (11AM Rome-time), stay awake til about 6AM, and then wake up at 10AM to face the day. *sigh* Oh well.

I have some pictures left from the last day or so in Rome, particularly one in the Protestant Cemetary with 4 people lying before John Keats' grave, but unfortunately my laptop has no access to the Internet. I'll see if the PC will be kind and let me upload at least that pic to the computer/Internet, but....let's not hold our breaths here, okay?

One more week until EUReKA begins again!!! *cheers* I'm still sad I haven't had the opportunity to go out and get the second season's DVD, though. Or pick up the Buffy comic that I missed. Maybe this Saturday...*sigh* But YAY FOR EUReKA!!! Bad to the Drone, you'd best not disappoint!

Now, time for Peanut Butter and Chocolate ice cream and Van Helsing. Because I had a really, really random desire to see that movie while I was in Rome, with no means of watching it.

Robert: Leigh, you lie entirely too well.
Leigh: Oxford Theatre Club. They still talk of my Julius Caesar. I'm certain nobody has ever performed the first scene of Act Three with more dedication.
Robert: I thought Caesar was dead in that scene. --The Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown
