This is completely pointless^^.
(meme from Danielle)
Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter if you want. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.
My letter is "V". I am now resisting the urge to make references. Watch me go.
Vatican, for "Du kannst Papst im Vatican nicht finden!", which has, in turn, inspired me to write this subjunctive sentence: "Wenn ich der Papst im Vatican finden koennte, wuerde ich er eine Tasse Tee und ein Stueck Marzipan schenken."
Vixen, a word I learned from a Spice Girls song in the fourth grade. The line was, "she's a vixen, not a tramp." I think she was probably a tramp.
Vex, which I first saw on one of those supposedly funny little plaques in my orthodontists office that detailed a bunch of ways to say "bother", which you weren't allowed to do to the doctor. I associated this one with "sex" until I also saw it in a book.
Vineyard: I have never been to one, so when I think of the word, I think of the wild grapes that grew along one of the fences at Lakeview, or Sideways.
Vincible, which may not even be a word, but I would imagine is the opposite of "invincible", if it does in fact exist.
Vader, the second half of "Darth Vader". I always liked Star Wars, until those ones with Hayden Christiensen and Jar Jar Binks. Maybe Jar Jar was really what drove him to the dark side.
Valiant, like "Prince Valiant", that terrible, terrible comic that runs in the Journal News. I've read it a few times over a four or five year period, just to make sure it hasn't gotten any better. It definitely hasn't.
Veritable: I've always found this word to be very fun to use, but I never find many practical applications for it.
Velocity, a word which I of course associate with Monty Python. Roger hates it when someone asks that question. Especially when Mr. Kerr asks that question.
Vile, or Vial, two words which I would very much like to use together, now that I think about it. I've always liked the idea of a vial. It seems very scientific and official, but also mysterious, like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. Vile things are, well, vile. Eww.

I'm not sure that I got down the "what it means to you and why", but I had fun at least.
