I tried to copy the coloring and this is what I got:

to
Channel Mixer, Selective Color, Brightness/Contrast, Color Fill Layers, Color Balance; not translateble to other programs then Photoshop
STEP A Start preparing your base. Do whatever you do to your base (resize, sharpen, etc.).
STEP B Duplicate your base twice and set the first to Soft Light at 100%, the second to Screen at 50%.
STEP C Then go to Layer -> New Adjustment Layers -> Channel Mixer:
Red 120, -30, 40, 0
Green 0, 100, 0, 0
Blue -38, 52, 100, 22
STEP D Then Layer -> New Adjustment Layers -> Selective Color:
Reds -100, 0, 100, 0
Yellows 0, 0, -100, 33
Whites 47, -14, 31
Neutrals 0, 0, 13, 0
Blacks 0, 0, 0, 20
STEP E Another Adjustment Layer -> Brightness/Contrast:
0, -24
STEP F Create three Color Fill Layers with #94715F and set it to Soft Light at 100%, after that #0A1B29 to Exclusion at 100% and the last one with #1B0D02 to Exclusion at 60%.
STEP G Layer -> New Adjustment Layers -> Selective Color:
Reds 0, 35, 72, 0
Yellows 0, 18, 47, 0
STEP H Layer -> New Adjustment Layers -> Color Balance:
Midtones 9, 0, -5
Shadows -11, 0, 11
Hightlights 0, 11, -8
STEP I To finish the icon I pasted
this texture (by
droppingtear) above all and set it to Screen at 100%.
