This is my very first time writing for Firefly. I've challenged myself to write a drabble a day this month, since I couldn't do NaNo, and thought it was a good time to branch out a bit!

Ohhh, I liked that a lot, although I'm wondering where Jayne is. I have this idea that he'd always be there to listen to Book. Those two seem to have a understanding -- and I'm sure Jayne's mom 'done raised him right' ;).

I like this little picture - Kaylee being late makes it seem very life like. But where's Jayne? I think he'd listen...

Oh, I really liked the sense of community and rightness of it. And, I especially loved the last line.
