This is my very first time writing for Firefly. I've challenged myself to write a drabble a day this month, since I couldn't do NaNo, and thought it was a good time to branch out a bit!

Sundays came to Serenity with Book. ‘fore that, Sunday was just any other day for workin’ and makin’ ends meet.
But when Book came aboard, Sunday stood on its own feet. There were still work to be done, but in the morning he’d pull out the Bible and find a passage to read loud. Simon and Inara set aside the time to always be there. Kaylee’d rush in a few minutes late most times. If times were rough, Wash and Zoe might join in, holdin’ hands together. Simon brought River, but her mind was always elsewhere. Only the Captain was never seen at Book’s Sundays - but he always knew what reading was said.
