Well my cars taillights are working again, still no turn signals. Poo.
House is coming together, the inside is finished except for like, a broken ceiling fan and my never ending unpacking. have to do a few modifications but its all stuff I can do myself. screens in the windows, put up some towel rods, stuff like that. Doggies are settling in quite nicely. Also due to v. frequent walking, even if its two seconds to let them pee, there have been no recent *known* peeing on the carpet episodes! Yippy!
Doggies have fleas. *headdesk* So I purchased via petmeds.com six months (or three per dog) of a combined, flea, tick, heartworm ointment. Cost lots. $85. but since its all three, and for six months, I think I'm still saving. Have to wait for it to come via mail. Only thing is, they ahve been off heartworm for long enough that I have to get them retested, otherwise the medicine could kill them. For those who dont' know if a dog has heartworm, then the prevention can kill them. The medicine to treat is different from prevent. You think they would figure out a better overall medication but whatever. So my dogs are scheduled for tests tomorrow, and to get their rabies shots renewed. Its only 11 a dog, so not to bad. then my doggies are legal and can be safely medicated. Actually I'm only testing one cause its expensive, but I figure if one is clean, they both are clean. if one is not, both are not. I'm not worried.
been saving a little money. Sweet! I should be able to pay Becca back the money I owe her for saving Kurts life, next month. Then again, I havn't paid an electricity bill, so this could be a moot point. I think thats the only reason I have extra money at all. Which scares me to think about what water/electric will be. I still don't know, have to talk to my landlord, who said he hasn't read the meter or something. Procrastination thy name is Chris.
Got to visit Chris and Renee!! OMG it was so good to see them again. And its wonderful to hang out with married peoples. Its nice to have somethign in common with your friends.
every day my list of things to do gets longer, even though I keep crossing stuff out. How is this possible?
I'm thinking about defaulting on one of my credit cards. I have enough room on one to pay off the other, then default. I mean, interest rates are to freaking high. I will never be able to pya it off, not when I still owe the gov. money from last year. Just won't happen. I know it won't look good on my credit but I'm not trying to buy a house here. I've learned to live within my means. I think what I want to do is close the account, and try to settle for 50% of what I owe.
Few questions for anybody who knows...
1. Even though jason's name isn't on any credit card, can they try to get money from him if I try to settle?
2. I literally get no paycheck, can they try to garnish my wages? Though it will do them no good?
3. I'm going to offer them 50%, think thats good? At least as a start?
btw I don't have that much debt. But I could use what I have and am tired of paying for their fees. Besides, oen of my cards has literally swindled me out of like, $1200. so its not like I havn't paid them in full at least once.

I can't wait to get a garden started! Must wait a few weeks to see what my money looks like, then learn how to keep plants alive during hte winter. Hrm...
