This is a drabble taken from the notes for my much longer story. So this is basically the cliffs notes version of the first segment of Superhero Conspiracy.

There really aren't that many evil geniuses in the world, and when they met it usually resulted in much property damage and the deaths of several dozen minions. So it was a surprise when Artemis Fowl met Lex Luthor... and they just clicked.
Artemis Fowl was twenty-three years old, three years younger than Lex Luthor. He had resigned himself to a life without love... plenty of sex, but no love. Then he met Lex for the first time and everything changed.
The Irishman hadn't been exactly thrilled to have to come to America to sign paperwork, but that was how the world worked. And once the papers were signed, there was no way Artemis was going to just return quietly to his hotel. Instead, he decided to go out to a club and see a bit of America for himself.
Artemis and Lex met in a club without knowing each other. Instant attraction. Lex thought Artemis was gorgeous. Artemis thought Lex was sleek and sexy. It was perfect.
They fucked in an anonymous hotel room. Then they introduced themselves. Both their names were recognized by the other--they were just Artemis and Lex before that.
They both had bodyguards that stayed outside the bedroom while they fucked. But lots of regular rich people had bodyguards, not just evil geniuses. Though Juliet Boots and Mercy Graves were a whole different level of professional. It was strange how two such intelligent men hadn't noticed the strangeness of their arrangements before the exchange of bodily fluid.
Words were exchanged once they realized their alternate identities as evil geniuses. Then they fucked again. And it was even better than the first time.
