Christmastime is here!

I love this holiday!

Dad gave the cats their Christmas present early. He got them their own roll of paper towel! They love it, which is evidenced by the large amounts of paper scraps lying around the living room floor.

I swear the cats never paid any attention to the tree until after it was decorated. We put up the tree nearly a week ago and they didn't bother it. Dad and I finally decorated it this morning. Suddenly, cats are swingin' from the branches! We can't even keep our presents under the tree this year. There'd be nothing left of them! So, they're all piled in Sam's old room, with the door shut at all times. Dad commented that we should have put the tree in there.

Mom gave me an early present - shoelaces! They're so cool! It'll be hard to top that gift. Seriously, I think shoelaces are under-appreciated. Even if you don't need them for your shoes, they're good as string. But these ones are too cool not to put on my shoes. I just have to figure out which shoes to put them in. I'm a shoe whore and have a dozen pairs to chose from.

I know what I want for my birthday - a paper shredder. Actually, I have wanted a paper shredder for quite some time now. I just never told anyone. And I highly doubt anyone would take me seriously. My mom's workplace has one now, and she let me play with it tonight!

Some of the coolest presents I've ever gotten:

- staplers (yup, two of them)
- plastic flamingos
- rubber duckies
- shoelaces
- computer
- scanner
- digital camera
- scotch tape
- kitten calendar
- gel pens
- pipe cleaners
- video camera
- SpongeBob pajamas

Stuff I want:

- paper shredder
- hole puncher
- more plastic flamingos
- more tape
- more rubber duckies
- new video camera (mine conked out)
- more shoes
- safety pins
- X-Box 360
- anything to do with pirates
- stickers
- neckties
- colored paper
- post-its
- blank video tapes
- Legos
- action figures

I'm pretty easy to please. I appreciate socks too. I could use some new ones.

I can't wait until tomorrow! And Sam will be here, yay!

Merry Christmas, everyone!
