Okay, it's been two weeks so I'm a tad behind, and I will procrastinate no more! There are numerous other, very well written, reviews, so I'm going to skip a general overview other than to succinctly say 'I liked it!' and leave it at that ;)
However, I must admit than I've been just a tad fascinated by the title to this episode and how it pertains to what happens within it. If translated literally the 'Mother's little helper' could be Julia not letting Henry know that Abaddon was in Josie, but, if it's meaning is tied to the old slang where the helper was vallium, it could refer to Dean's reliance on alcohol. Which mean *tries to restrain the bubble of hope* maybe, maybe they might finally address Dean's not so little drinking problem. So often in season's past they've teased us with Dean's low self-esteem, etc., and it looked like they might actually give Dean a storyline dealing with it, but they've always backed away.... maybe not this time???
