Briefest of briefs

Remodel:

• The cabinets are installed.
  
  
• The floor is sanded & stained.
  
  
• The counter tops & drawer pulls & light globes are being fabricated.
  
  
• The appliances have been ordered.
  
  
• Still haven't gotten a call-back from any landscapers. I don't want to have to do it all myself.

New house:

• Closing is scheduled for June 30.
  
  
• The mortgage lender is nervous that I haven't sent him my completed tax returns. I'm meeting with my accountant on Thursday to finish them.
  
  
• We'll be in Austin from June 27 thru July 1. When we return, we'll have a new house.
  
  
• The new house is so big (and so expensive) it seems like a waste for just me & Joe. Y'all come for a visit, now, ya' hear?

Life continues in full chaos mode. Some days, I can't find my onager with either paw. At least I'm going to the gym semi-regularly.
