An Open Letter to members of Carpet sharks ink
Since your list owner would never let this letter get through to you on that actual board, I shall post here:
I am leaving because you unsubscribed me because I didn't get around to doing the yearly reintroduction. I figured what was the point, when I won't read what everyone else has written, and just really keep membership to these groups in case I have some kind of issue that I can then go and search the different groups I belong to to see if they've also had the same ferret issues. But alas, you consider someone active if they post once a year. I am subscribed to enough groups to search, so I guess it won't hurt my feelings too much if you don't want me to stick around. I don't post on ferret groups any more - they've lost my interest with the same questions over and over again, and a lot of off-topic talk. I remember your group especially to have a lot of off-topic talk, and I just don't have the energy to go through all the off-topic ones to find ones where I may actually be able to help out. Previously, when I did start up on the group again, I found out I was on moderated status - for what reason, I don't know.
So after what, 7 or 8 years, so long to CSI. Was nice knowing you all.

I am sorry to see you are leaving Carpet Sharks Ink.
Sometimes, people unsubscribe because they go on vacation, change their e-mail address, or have other considerations.
Hopefully, this is the case with you, and we will see you back soon.
Please note that on the yahoogroups.com website, you can very easily switch your mail from the list on and off.
You may do this at any time and retain access to the rest of the yahoogroups.com functions for this list.
Sometimes you can still get email from the group 24-48 hours after you unsubscribe.
When you unsubscribe (or make any change in your membership) your request goes into a queue, and it can take Yahoo 24-48 hours for your request to be processed. Please don't email the group owner as this is beyond our control.
If you wish to stop the emails sooner you can use your
email reader's "Block" feature to block the emails
from arriving.
I hope you had a good time when you were there, and was able to obtain some helpful information regarding ferrets, and other subject matters.
I hope that you are not leaving on bad terms, if you can offer any feedback to make this group more successful, I would appreciate that.
