Look, I have a new blog!
Wow, so it's been a while since I updated, and I had no idea. I know that may seem strange, because blogging is one of those things I do on a fairly regular basis, and I haven't even been so busy as to have forgotten to do my other normal routines (clean the kitchen, feed the turtle, watch my shows, etc.).
The real reason I forgot to post here is because I was working on another blog on Blogspot.com. ^_^ Now, before you accuse me of being a traitor and try to run me out of town or anything like that, you should go check it out. I created it a blog called "Movie Recommendations for All Occasions" and I'm actually really proud of it.
How it all came about was, I was home for Thanksgiving and talking to my dad and step-mom. All throughout the conversation, I kept thinking, for various reasons, of movies that they should see. Finally, in a lull in the conversation I said, "Maybe I should just create a blog. I'd call it 'Movie Recs for Every Occasion' or something and then I could share my movie viewing insights with the world." My step-mom was completely on-board with this idea, and so later that evening I created it.
And the truth of the matter is, recommending movies (among other things) to people is one of my favorite pastimes. I don't know why, really. Maybe I like the challenge of coming up with things that I think other people might like, and having them come back and say how much they enjoyed the movie. Maybe I just like to share with people my love for movies. *shrugs* In any case, if you're at all curious, I would love for you to bop over there and check it out.
