the Bravo saga

S'funny,how these things turn out.
At no time did I think I had 'gotten away with' anything,or did I feel afterwards that we were treated unfairly. In my head it averaged out even. No punishment that bothered me. Which I suppose isn't even, it's me winning.
Liza was wrong...if the school doesn't call your house THE day you skipped, it doesn't mean they won't call at all. Which means I in fact learned two lessons today, instead of the single one i previously thought:
1. If you happen to miss a class, get the notes asap. As in, before the pop quiz which, if I had given any thought to it, was foreseeable.
2. Know how to check your answering machine. I understand on some machines it's really simple, but on ours you have to dial a phone number and then a code, and I'm always conveniently forgetting both. Now I can't ask about either for about a month, or my parents will know why I want it...
Having my mom and dad know I skipped is about ten times worse than anyone else knowing I skipped, even though I'm not being 'punished' by the normal interpretation. The school probably knows that, which is why they call your house. Bastards.
I have to say, I still think what we did (Joanna Pam Liza et moi) was a better use of our time than that class. I learned what we missed in ...what? 35 minutes? and that was with a very thourough explanation. And when else would we have gotten together to discuss all that newspaper stuff? Maybe not the correct priorities technically, but practically, yes.
...For anyone curious, I STILL don't feel sorry for Mr. Bravo.
If we ever have Mrs. Cover in English again, however, I WILL suffer through it. Now why is that different?
And if Mr. Bravo subs again, I'll HAVE to go. Doing otherwise is just stupid. It's pushing a point that's pointless to argue. And mean to Mr. Taylor.
I think he's even with us now with the quiz, though.
p.s. Please don't worry about those eight marks, joanna.

The only thing that bothered me during Math today, actually, was (person's name) acting like such a tattler. First time I'd noticed that about that person. Sucks when you see someone's bad side.

Yes, I spent a whole journal entry talking about that. There isn't much going on in my life. That I can think of at the moment, anyway. :P
