(no subject)
I am currently in Kyle's living room, on his laptop, at his parent's house in Albany.
It's beautiful out here. His parents live in a very rural area of New York, in a village (?) called Stuyvesant.
Something I didn't know before I came: Albany is much, much smaller than Buffalo.
Makes sense. There are SO MANY TREES HERE.
I am incredibly excited about moving my stuff out. I can't wait. Shampooing rugs and painting walls sounds thrilling. Having a super long, time-consuming project is thrilling.
So...as much as I have enjoyed the time I've spent here, I'm kind of looking forward to going homme and busting my butt to make myself and the love of my life a home. And then starting school.
I still have no loans and will be paying everything out of pocket, but Michael has been good enough to me to sit down and go over my finances whenever I ask him to. I honestly could not ask for a better companion, lover and friend.
Also: I spent about $350 on a brand new sofa/loveseat set. Michael is paying the other half off. I can't freaking wait to get it into the apartment. :)
