I should have just stayed in bed...
So I stayed up waaay too late last night (for me), mostly chatting and editing the movie. But since I had a doctor's appointment today (regular checkup), I figured I could sleep in. Then I realized as I got up this morning that I actually had to get up at the same time anyway, since I scheduled my appointment early. So needless to say I was tired and running into things (in the house, not in the car).
So I get to the doctor's office at 0800 (I had an 0830 appointment)... I figured I could just get in early, maybe see the doc and get it done. Turns out the building doesn't open until 0830. %(#$!! So I sit in my car, work on my laptop, listen to the radio. At 0830 I throw my laptop in the truck and head on in. But wait, it seems that something fell out of my hand as I closed my trunk! Was it my cell phone? No, that's still in my hand.... ah yes, my car keys. Yay! So I go through the appointment, come out, call AAA to get them to get someone to open my door. "Sure, we can have someone in your area in about an hour." Ugh! So nevermind that I pay the yearly service for AAA... I walk across the street to the gas station and pay $25 for the guy to open my car in about 5 minutes. (Scary that it can be done so easily!)
So now I'm tired, annoyed, and trying to contemplate if I'm going to work late today or just take sick time for the appointment. Plus, I'm apparently very whiny. I wish I had my own office... I could just close the door and take a nap. ;)
