Missing My Mac
I just got my (refurbished) Dell Inspiron 1720 yesterday. It's cool & I like it: Red, 17" screen, and the new Vista operating system. However, In the (approximately) hour and a half that I ran the bloody thing it randomly rebooted on it's own 4 or 5 times. The Sims game I got for christmas (in 06) won't run on it. I'm tyring to get an AOL program loaded onto it (downloaded at work & e-mailed to my home e-mail).
David's right, though I denied it, I'm about one more aggravation away from sending this damned machine back to Dell & seeing what I can do to upgrade my HP desktop from 2003 (or whenever...).
Mac's didn't give me these kinds of troubles when I bought them...but I've already given my arms & legs for their machines.
